I had the greatest pleasure of photographing one of my closest friend’s elopement at the Ohio Statehouse. Kayce and Greg were married on a cold gray day in March and had their first look and couple’s portraits in the historic Ohio Statehouse. They walked around the statehouse as I documented their love, it quickly became evident to me how truly in love Greg was with his bride, the look of adoration, commitment and service he had for her was something I had not seen before in couple’s past. Kayce had a quiet calmness about her, she was unnerved and ready to marry her man.

After I finished with their portraits they were married in a small church in Cliftonville. Their dearest friends and family were all present to witness their declaration of commitment to each other and afterward they went to dinner at La Scala Restaurant  for an intimate celebration of their love.

Greg and Kayce, my heart sings that you have finally found each other. Kayce, you deserve the world and I’m so happy that you were able to find it in Greg! Greg, you’re one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met and Kayce is luck to have you! I’m so excited for you both and your future together as Mr. & Mrs. Parks! Congratulations! xo, Jessy
