As a photographer I am constantly location scouting whether that be through Instagram or IRL. I stumbled across Rising Park last year and have been impatiently waiting to photograph a sunset engagement at Rising Park. When one of my couple’s said they were from Lancaster, I knew this was my opportunity to take advantage of this incredible location! We started out in downtown and then worked our way up to Rising Park. A little prep note — if you have never been before, bring a pair of shoes you can hike up the hill with. The hike itself is relatively short but it is steep and the proper footwear will definitely help aid in your ascent! Once we made it to the top we could see all of Lancaster and it was beautiful.
