Happy Friday friends!! I hope you all are excited for the weekend! I’m catching up on writing blog posts and wanted to take a minute to share this cute autumn engagement shoot in German Village.

 A few months ago I had taken a day with my camera to scout this gorgeous, quaint, little town for incredible locations, so when Andrew and Whitney said they wanted their engagement session in German Village I was excited! The cool thing about this shoot is the historical significance it has to Andrew and Whitney and their family. A story they now can add to and pass on to their children. Andrew’s family grew up in German Village and he proposed with his grandmother’s heirloom diamond. After he proposed they had a celebratory brunch at the Parisian inspired cafe Pistacia Vera. 

When this couple first met they instantly connected! Set up by mutual friends these two initiated their interaction via facebook messaging that led to grabbing coffee together and four hours later they decided an official first date was probably a good idea… And as they say, the rest is history.
