One of our favorite things to do as a company is periodically host giveaways or promotions offering free or discounted sessions especially if there is an event or an idea we’re excited about photographing. This engagement session was such a case! We knew the Lantern Fest was coming to Cincinnati and wanted to photograph a fun-loving couple that loved a darker, edgier shoot; of course there is always the touch of ethereal elegance in all of our shoots but this engagement was quite different. The festival includes with the purchase of tickets a Chinese lantern, a s’mores kit, and firewood. Amy, Tallen, and little Jax enjoyed an evening of  gooey delicious s’mores and hundreds of hundreds of glowing lanterns floating above them as I photographed their love. The Lantern Fest will be back in midwest in August, September AND October of this year!
