So we didn’t actually go to the arctic circle to photograph this engagement but honestly it felt like we were in the arctic with nothing but frozen ice as far as our eye could see on the edge of lake Erie. Cleveland winters are no joke and we froze our tooshes off to get the perfect shots. After Erin and Dave spent some time on the pier we then went down onto the rocks to the water’s edge to get some snuggly photos of them trying their best to stay warm while simultaneously looking fabulous. They most definitely nailed it. At our next location we took the opportunity to head to downtown Cleveland to Playhouse Square to photograph them underneath the “world’s largest outdoor chandelier.” Euclid Ave has so many different beautiful spots I had them stopping ever few seconds or so to get “the shot.” Cleveland does an incredible job at balancing its modern architecture with its more baroque architecture, even their scaffolding on the buildings they were renovating had twinkle lights wrapped around them to make it more appealing to its city dwellers. This attention to detail would probably go unnoticed by most but not us. Cleveland we see you! After the engagement session my business associate and I took our couple out to dinner for some Mexican food on 4th Street followed by drinks at the cutest speak easy bar, Society Lounge. We seriously had the best time with Erin and Dave and cannot wait for their wedding here in Columbus in October! Honestly, their engagement session was one of the most fun we’ve ever done to date.
